Every summer, Nashville Freedom Schools asks our scholars to believe something powerful:
I can make a difference.
For six weeks, scholars discover what that means in themselves, their families, their communities, their country, and their world. Through literacy, culturally affirming learning, leadership development, and a community rooted in joy, they learn that their voices matter and that they have the power to shape what comes next.
Now, we're inviting you to make a difference alongside them.
50 Difference Makers
Our goal is to build a community of 50 Difference Makers who each give $100 monthly.
Together, those 50 people will provide $60,000 in dependable support every year, helping Nashville Freedom Schools put books into scholars' hands, develop young leaders, create enriching experiences, engage families, and build joyful spaces where young people can learn, belong, and lead.

Make Your Difference
$100 a month is our Difference Maker goal, but it isn't the only way to make a difference.
