Help Build a Community Rooted in Joy and Belonging
Your gift helps young people read, lead, grow, and know they can make a difference.
Your Gift Supports the Whole Experience
General donations give Nashville Freedom Schools the flexibility to respond to what our scholars, families, and young leaders need most.
Every summer, our scholars enter a community built around joy, culture, literacy, leadership, and belonging. They read books that reflect their identities, learn alongside caring young leaders, explore their community, and spend six weeks hearing and experiencing the message:
I Can Make a Difference.
Your support helps put culturally affirming books into scholars' hands, train and employ Servant Leader Interns and Junior Servant Leader Interns, provide enrichment and field trip experiences, engage families as partners, and create a place where young people are seen, heard, challenged, and celebrated.
The impact shows up in stronger readers, growing leaders, engaged families, and young people who understand that their voices matter.
Whether you give $25, $100, $500, or an amount that is meaningful to you, there is a place for your gift in this community.
More Ways to Make a Difference
Support doesn't always have to mean money. Books and supplies, meals, enrichment and field trip experiences, professional expertise, community connections, and other resources can all strengthen the Freedom Schools experience.
